Ever since college-bound[准备上大学的] Mike Wazowski was a little monster, he has dreamed of becoming a scarer[恐吓专家]—and he knows better than anyone that the best scarers come from Monsters University(MU). But during his first semester[学期] at MU, Mike’s plans are derailed[脱轨] when he crosses paths with hotshot[成功的人] James P. Sullivan, a natural-born scarer. The pair’s out-of-control competitive[求胜心切的] spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite[精英的] Scare Program. To make matters worse, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit[与社会格格不入的人] monsters, if they ever hope to make things right.

不过,迪士尼与皮克斯欧诺公司在此期间发布了“怪物大学网”(monstersuniversity.com)。
