The advent of mobile Internet era, making the global wireless network (WLAN) charm continues to heat up, and the trend intensified. According to research firm ForwardConcepts, the number of wireless networks in the United States will reach 530,000 by 2007, 800,000 in Europe and more than 1 million in Asia. In terms of market revenue Yankee Group estimates that the global wireless network market will grow from 387 billion U.S. dollars in 2002 and 584 billion U.S. dollars in 2007. In the next four years, global wireless network users will grow by 49% in 2007 to reach the size of 172,000 people.
