In 2007, driving cars in China is becoming even more dangerous. Statistics from the Ministry of Public Security show that in the first quarter, more than 78,000 were traffic accidents and more than 18,000 people were killed. The average number of fatalities per accident was 0.23, equivalent to 40 times more than in the United States. Compared with two years ago, the average number of deaths per accident increased by 10%. The view is that the low safety of domestic vehicles is an important factor that has led to an increase in the number of occupants ’casualties. In particular, some models were accused of some flaws in the body design and easily lead to painful accidents such as body breakage and occupants’ casualties , Which once again pushed the car safety issues to the cusp. Zhang Wenjie, a senior engineer at China Society of Automotive Engineers, points out that the speed at which domestic automobile companies launch new models is one of the important factors that lead to a drop in vehicle safety.
