学习风格是个体在信息加工活动中表现出来的习惯化模式。学习风格理论丰富了教育者对个体差异性的认识,被誉为现代教学方法改革的基础。西方学者把学习风格理论与模型运用于工程教育领域,在工科生学习风格类型、学习风格与工科生学业表现以及工程教育方法与学习风格匹配等方面取得了较丰富的研究成果。本研究以工程教育领域最常用的三个学习风格研究工具为例,梳理相关研究成果,希望对工程教学改革提供借鉴。
Learning style is the habitualization mode that individual manifests in information processing activities. Learning style theory enriches educators’ understanding of individual differences and is honored as the basis for the reform of modern teaching methods. Western scholars apply the theory and model of learning style in the field of engineering education and have made abundant research achievements in the types of learning styles of engineering students, the learning style and the academic performance of engineering students, as well as the matching of engineering education methods and learning styles. This study takes the three most commonly used learning style research tools in the field of engineering education as an example, sort out the relevant research results, and hope to provide reference for engineering teaching reform.
