在泸州烟区连续3年采取不同耕作方式、种植方式和覆盖方式的定位研究,结果表明,翻耕处理与免耕处理相比能够有效提高烟株株高、茎围、节距、有效叶数,从而提高烟叶产量和产值,同时翻耕还能降低总糖和可溶性糖,提高氮、钾和烟碱含量,改善烟叶品质,特别是在翻耕条件下轮作对增加烟叶产量、产值改善烟叶品质具有显著作用。另外,轮作和秸秆还田能够一定程度增加烟株株高、茎围和节距,改善烟叶品质,提高烟叶的产量和产值。综合而言,以绿肥-烟叶→绿肥/小麦/玉米→绿肥-烟叶轮作处理产量和品质最优,是最适宜的种植模式。
