为了探索我国中学语文教学整体改革的道路,为了探索具有中国特色的中学语文教材体系,为了实现中学语文教材一纲多本的生动活泼教学局面,我们在辽宁省和鞍山市教育行政部门的领导下,在省、市教育学院的指导下,从1980年开始编写这套《初中语文实验教材》,全套教材分《阅读》与《写作》分科本,各6册,共12本,到1986年编写完毕。从1979年至1990年12年间,我们在省内外14个省市(自治区)150多所学校,200多教学班约1600名学生中举办过六期实验班,进行试验。这套教材的特点是:第一,有明确的指导思想,即旨在探索初中阶段语文能力早期培养的可行性(亦称语文能力过关),进而探索中学语文教学分两步走的整体改革设想实施的可能性。这是建立在
