硬质合金小模数滚刀,坯材料特硬,而齿形复杂,精度要求高,很难成形磨削加工。因此这种硬质合金滚刀很长时间未能过关和投入生产使用,直到1957年瑞士一家钻石加工厂采用金刚石成形磨轮,首次试验成功了整体硬质合金小模数齿轮滚刀,这才有了冲破性的进展。金刚石成形磨轮的制造质量和截形精度,将直接影响齿轮滚刀的齿形精度。为此,国内外对金刚石成形磨轮的制造工艺的研究都十分重视。现将国内外采用的两种金刚石成形磨轮制造工艺及它们的使用特性综述如下。
