In the first half of 1950, one of the main reasons for Guangxi’s banditry and its spread to the entire province was the requisition of grain. In response to the reasons why some peasants took part in banditry at that time, the Guangxi provincial government took a series of practical and effective measures to solve the grain problem and laid the mass foundation for finally eliminating the banditry in Guangxi.
