桃花源,在湖南常德市的桃源县,距县城西南15公里的水溪附近。面临沅水,背倚群山。因东晋诗人陶渊明写的《桃花源记》而得名。桃花源山门,在常德至沅陵的公路边。进入山门,沿着溪边石径,拾级而行。夹岸桃花,一直伸展到桃花观前。在晨钟暮鼓声中,和尚们做早晚课的梵音,响彻山林,把人带到一种清净无为的境界。往上爬山,到达水源亭。水源洞中涓涓细流,似乎桃花源便止于这里,好象再没有可寻之境了。人的欲望,有时又有些固执,想非寻个究竟不可! 继续攀登,山回路转,又到了一个开阔的去处。大的宣传画上写着“天下第一村——秦人村”。人们看到的,山麓疏落地横卧两三栋砖瓦房,别无二致,怎能说是秦人村呢这时,便有几个穿着秦时衣装的人们,操现代语言,劝游人买票进秦人古洞一游。秦人古洞,是一条长长的隧道。初时有电灯照明,但无什么奇观之处,使不少人萌生退意。走了一 Peach Blossom Spring, in Taoyuan County, Changde City, Hunan Province, 15 kilometers southwest of the county near the water Creek.
