本文敍述了滴眼剂所用药物的角膜透过性能,作者綜述了九个方面的药物如无机盐、生物硷、色素、維生素、同位素、磺胺类、抗生素、付腎皮貭荷尔蒙等。作者认为生物硷盐基透过角膜的性能大于水溶性盐,这是因为角膜上皮富于脂性之故,因此将生物硷滴眼液調整pH至硷性可以增加药的角膜透过性。又通过实驗証明各种抗生素透过角膜移入眼前房水中之量以氯霉素为最好,四圜素、青霉素次之,白霉素、鏈霉素介于前二者之間。考地松能透过角膜达到組織之事实已被証实,根据动物实驗认为醋酸考地松比
This article describes the corneal permeability of drugs used in eye drops. The authors review nine areas of drugs such as inorganic salts, alkaloids, pigments, vitamins, isotopes, sulfonamides, antibiotics, and therapies such as the kidney. The authors concluded that bioalkalcium-based keratinocytes penetrate the cornea more often than water-soluble salts because the corneal epithelium is more lipid-rich. Adjusting the pH of the bioacid eye drops to alkaline results in increased corneal permeability of the drug.
