In the past, according to the usual practice, the international conference only required the interpreter to carry out the work of translating from a foreign language into a mother tongue. However, as more and more non-western countries embark on the international arena, translating from a native language into a foreign language has become a reality that the international interpreter community has to accept. This article hopes that by comparing the similar surveys conducted by interpreters in China, Japan and South Korea in recent years, we can provide useful reference data and suggestions to our interpreter training institutions.
