雀舌罗汉松是江苏南通地区的特产树种,是通派盆景的主要用材。退休之后,我学做盆景就是从雀舌罗汉松开始的。它有这样一些特点:其一、繁育容易,取材方便。扦插是繁育雀舌罗汉松的唯一方法,每年春秋两季结合整形修剪,将半木质化新头扦插于微酸性砂质素土中,40～60天生根,成活率在90%以上。其二、适应性强,便于养护。雀舌罗汉松喜阳耐阴,也较耐寒,光照越多,长势越好。
