Shin-Etsu Chemical Co.,Ltd.,Jiangsu Fasten Hongsheng Group Co.,Ltd. and TKH Group NV will set up a joint venture to produce optical fiber preform in China’s Jiangsu province.Shin-Etsu Chemical has a share of 75% in the joint venture,and Fasten and TKH each 12.5%. The plant is scheduled to be operational in the half of 2011.
