In recent years, the adaptation of the novel into a movie has become a major trend of the movie. The “Great Hong Mi Store” is adapted from the famous novel writer Su Tong’s novel “Mi”. It exposes the Chinese spiritually dark side unreservedly. Whether it is a novel or a movie, it has been controversial since its launch. The movie “Hong Mi Branch” is even more likely to be released after a seven-year banning. The movie is based on the theme of exposing the cruel and ugly humanity. Only by facing up to and accepting the ugly and shameful existence can the movie better understand the worthiness of goodness and beauty. However, the intention of this article is to describe the allegorical implication of film language expression and the ideological gains and losses after the film adaptation from the artistic method level. Intended to share with readers the deeper understanding of the film and comprehension.
