湖州地区大部分水工建筑物多建造在软粘土地基上,其持力层范围内主要有淤泥土、淤泥质粘土或淤泥质轻亚粘土,含水量高、空隙比大,压缩性大,抗剪强度低,透水性差,地基承载力低,只有50~75KN/m~2。为此,湖州市水电设计院以结构轻型和布局合理为原则,设计了大量的轻型水工建筑物。例如:蓬蓬洋闸站工程和沈家墩排涝站工程,其平面布局合理,结构型式轻巧,比较适合软土地基沉降变形,其综合经济效益十分显著。蓬蓬洋闸站工程位于湖州市百丈港圩区的最北端,设计具有以下特点:1.闸站共用翼墙、墩墙
