动脉粥样硬化(AS)及相关心血管疾病已成为威胁人类死亡的主要原因之一,并将成为老龄化社会主要的卫生和社会经济问题。最近文献报道,AS的发生、发展与分化的不同巨噬细胞亚型相关。理解巨噬细胞增殖分化的分子机制、不同亚型巨噬细胞在AS过程中的功能,可能对寻找新的治疗方案,限制AS发展提供理论基础。
Atherosclerosis (AS) and related cardiovascular diseases have become one of the major threats to human mortality and will be a major health and socio-economic issue in an aging society. Recently reported in the literature, the occurrence and development of AS correlated with the differentiation of different macrophage subtypes. To understand the molecular mechanism of proliferation and differentiation of macrophages and the function of different subtypes of macrophages in the process of AS may provide a theoretical basis for finding new treatment options and limiting the development of AS.
