对联,是我国文苑里所独有的一枝奇葩,自五代时期西蜀后主刘昶,在门上贴出的第一副春联算起,到现在已有整整一千年的历史。经宋、元、明、清历代文人的发展,这枝文苑奇葩已成为人们逢节过年、婚丧喜庆中不可缺少的活动内容,书写对联也不再是风骚墨客抒发闲情逸致的工具,而为社会的各阶层所利用。我国老一辈无产阶级革命家,在他们的革命生涯中,曾经利用对联这个文艺形式,为无产阶级的革命事业服务。这里辑录了毛泽东同志和他的战友们撰写的一部分对联,作为向老一辈革命家学习的一个方面。一九三九年,延安各界举行纪念孙中山先生诞辰七十三周年和悼念抗日烈士大会时,毛泽东同志为大会撰的一副对联是:
