The book “Middle School Mathematics Problem Set” is about to be published. The title seems to be bland. In the current student’s schoolbags, many of the teachers’ desks are “Set of Problem Sets,” “Competitive Question Sets,” “Review Question Sets,” “Essential Question Sets,” and so on. This book is still coming up with some excitement? I am afraid that we should start with the differences and connections between “exercise questions,” “examination questions,” and “problems.” Exercises, English is Exercise, its purpose is to consolidate and practice, content is regular, students can easily imitate. Exam questions, English is a Test Question, which specifically refers to questions written in a limited time and must be completed independently. Understanding sexual test questions and exercises are almost the same, and some of the selective questions are difficult and challenging. As for the math contest questions, it is even harder and higher to deviate from the textbook. As the questions are to be completed in a limited time and easy to score, there are often certain patterns. What we want to promote here is “problems”. English is called Problem. There is no unified view on how mathematical problems should be defined. In general, there are the following features. First, it is unconventional, that is, it is not a simple imitation of the content of the teaching materials. It cannot be accomplished by skilled operations, and it requires more creativity. The second is the importance of the situation
