人类正面临着一个全球性危机—水污染。据世界卫生组织报告,全世界发展中国家1/3的城市人口得不到安全卫生的饮用水,全世界80%~90%的疾病与33%的死亡率与受污染的饮用水有关,平均每天有2.5万人死于通过水传染的疾病。而我国有70%的江河水系受到污染,40%基本丧失了使用功能,流经城市的河流95%以上受到严重污染;3亿农民喝不到干净水,更可谓形势严峻。今年3月22日是第15个世界水日,专家指出,如果不改变饮用水的质量,生命之源将可能转化为生命杀手。
