在2012年10月LME周之前,金属市场遭遇了较长时期投资商的大幅抛售。因为已经清楚中国供应过剩,刚好那时预测经济增长中速。考虑到2013年第一季度正常需求上扬的乐观主义允许金属价格从清算中恢复。然而,第二轮投资商的抛售发生在2013年2月,当时显而易见的是,中国对铜需求不太可能超过机构的预测。
The metal market suffered a sharp sell-off by investors for a longer period ahead of the LME week in October 2012. Because it is clear that China’s surplus of supply, just then forecast the speed of economic growth. Optimism, which takes into account the normal demand rise in the first quarter of 2013, allowed metal prices to recover from liquidation. However, the second round of investor sell-off occurred in February 2013, when it became apparent that demand for copper in China was unlikely to exceed the agency’s forecast.
