三层交换机集二层交换与三层路由功能于一体,由硬件在网络层按照IP地址进行线速转发,以满足网络应用的高带宽、低时延等需求。简单介绍了三层交换机的基本工作原理,简要描述了文中设计所采用的硬件平台,提出了一种具有较好可扩展性和可移植性的三层交换机软件架构,并对三层交换核心驱动的设计与实现进行了详细说明。通过主要性能测试表明本文设计的三层交换机性能较好,满足设计需求。
Layer 3 switches set Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing functions in one by the hardware at the network layer in accordance with the IP address of the wire-speed forwarding to meet the network applications such as high bandwidth, low latency and other needs.
