近年来儿童学习问题倍受社会有关领域的关注.学习对发展中的儿童来讲是个永恒的课题,这里所说的学习障碍并不是指那些因脑障碍和精神发育迟滞所引起的学习困难问题,而是指被称为Iearninng disabilities(LD)这一专业名称的一类综合征.学习的必要条件在于认知能力的正常发展,在于感觉器官(视听觉)功能正常,运动功能没有大的障碍,情绪发展正常,儿童所处的环境不存在不利的条件.所谓LD儿童是指虽具备了上述条件,却仍存在学习方面问题的儿童.学习不仅是阅读、书写、计算等能力的获得,还包括获得这些技能的整个学习过程,即包含着听觉性言语(包括叙说)和非言语性的经验.因而它与早先因学校适应困难所致的学习问题有所区别,容易引起概念上的混乱.笔者曾用过学习能力障碍一称,考虑到名称至今还未得到统一的情况下,认为直用LD一词的为好.
