创造性叛逆是翻译实践的本质特征,葛浩文在英译莫言的《丰乳肥臀》时,他的翻译实践的创造性叛逆具体体现在他的个性化翻译上。葛浩文在翻译时改变了一些原文的卷章顺序和自然段划分,适当地拆解、调整和重编原文的宏观叙事结构,对一些原文的情节和文字进行了适当的删减,在处理汉文化专有的语言项目时采用了多种灵活的翻译手法。对“创造性叛逆”的深入探讨对当前尤其是文学方面的翻译研究具有相当大的价值和意义。
Creative treason is the essential feature of translation practice.
