珠茶是我国绿茶的一个独特品种。它以浑圆紧结、色泽绿润、香高味浓、经久耐泡著称于世。珠茶,又称“圆茶”。有人认为是由宋代龙凤团茶演变而来。在诸暨旧县志中也有这样的记载:“……又有一种名圆茶,揉授一叶如凡,焙于仿古龙凤团之制法,售于外洋……”。说明最初的圆茶是仿效宋代团茶的制法是可信的。珠茶究竟何年开始输出,尚缺乏可靠的史实资料。根据片断资料分析,珠茶输出可能始于十七世纪后期。最初出口的珠茶,被译为“Hgson”(贡熙),说是进贡康熙(公元1662—1722年)皇帝的茶叶。1702
