计量是经济建设、科技进步和社会发展的重要技术基础，它涉及到国民经济各部门、社会生活的各方面。因此，计量工作不仅要依靠计量监督部门，更需要全社会的共同努力。作为人才培养基地和科研工作中心的高等院校，计量工作方面并没有受到应有的重视，应当引起有关部门的重视。
Measurement is an important technical basis for economic construction, scientific and technological progress and social development. It involves all sectors of the national economy and all aspects of social life. Therefore, the measurement work depends not only on measurement and supervision departments, but also on the joint efforts of the whole society. As institutions of higher learning for personnel training bases and research centers, the measurement work has not received the attention it deserves and should be given the attention of relevant departments.
