Tea caterpillar (Euproctis pseudoconspersa strand), also known as spicy tea, is one of the major pests in our tea area. The larvae bite on the leaves of the tea trees, and even the bark of the fruit trees are eaten lightly. It is not only a serious threat to the tea tree, and its body surface toxins flying around, touching the human skin, itching and swelling, a direct impact on the health of tea farmers. Tea caterpillars occur three generations a year, and these three generations are positive spring, summer and autumn picking season of three teas, picking tea before and after the use of chemical pesticides, will inevitably affect the quality of tea. Therefore, it is very necessary to seek new ways of prevention and control, especially vigorously carry out biological control to control the harm of tea caterpillars.
