Objective To investigate the effect of standard ambulance on prognosis in patients with severe traumatic brain injury with GCS≤8. Methods A retrospective analysis of 86 cases of severe head injury in patients with emergency situations. Divided into treatment group of 45 cases, after standardized pre-hospital care measures, such as maintaining airway patency, oxygen, etc .; control group of 41 cases, without pre-hospital ambulance measures. Blood gas analysis results of two groups were compared. Results The oxygenation index and prognosis of the two groups were significantly different (P <0.05), the treatment group was better than the control group. Conclusion The results of blood gas analysis on admission of patients with severe craniocerebral injury are closely related to their pre-admission treatment. Standardized pre-hospital care, in particular, to maintain airway patency and oxygen, can reduce the mortality of patients with severe craniocerebral injury and improve prognosis.
