DCC基因是由Fearon等研究结直肠肿瘤用定位克隆的方法确定并命名的一个肿瘤抑制基因,长约1.4Mb,至少有29个外显子。其编码产物的氨基酸序列与神经细胞粘附分子有明显的同源性。DCC基因在细胞分化以及肿瘤特别是结直肠肿瘤发生发展中具有重要意义。
The DCC gene is a tumor suppressor gene identified by the method of site-directed cloning by Fearon et al. For the study of colorectal tumors. It is about 1.4 Mb long and has at least 29 exons. The amino acid sequence of its encoded product has obvious homology with neural cell adhesion molecule. DCC gene plays an important role in cell differentiation and development of tumor, especially colorectal tumor.
