1980年9月25~26日铁道部戚墅堰机车车辆工艺研究所和中国科学院上海有机化学研究所在常州市戚墅堰召开了“涂镀溶液鉴定会”。有铁道科学研究院等7个单位25名代表参加。涂镀工艺是在工件表面的局部快速电化沉积金属的新技术。而快速电化沉积金属溶液是涂镀工艺的关键材料。它能保护修复金属零件和改变其表面的物化性能,对于我国机械零部件的修旧利废有很大的经济意义。国外已广泛地用于飞机、船舶、铁道等方面。中国科学院上海有机化学研究所和铁道部戚墅堰机车车辆工艺研究所共同研制成功的低应力镍TDY 103、镍-钨合金TDY 104和高速铜TDY 402三种快速电化沉积溶液,沉积速度快,
