在那些不能以环风流通风的巷道中必须采用独特的通风方式。向独头巷道所送入的新鲜风量要能够稀释和排除沼气或其它气体,给工作创造良好的气候条件,保证最低的风流速度等。 在《格罗季采》矿井(波兰人民共和国)掘进603号平巷时的试验表明,长达500米独头巷道的通风不是困难的,用一台安装在密闭的管道头上的强力风机就足够了。在长度大于500米的巷道中向工作面送入所需数量的风量就有相当大的技术困难。尽管用数台风机,在长长的风道筒中还产生非常大的阻力。 《格罗季采》矿井在主要风筒的末端安装一条有单独风机的与其平行的辅助风筒(图1)。
