9月25日台湾东森电视台在新闻频道以“晚间封面故事”的形式及时报道了“神州七号”发射升空的实况;TVBS电视台则不仅在岛内新闻频道直播了“神州七号”从倒计时到点火升空的全过程,还首度应邀与大陆中央电视台、香港TVB、澳门澳广视联合制作《中华看“神州”》大型直播节目,台湾记者还应邀前往酒泉卫星发射中心,现场采访、报道“神州七号”载人飞船升空盛况,这也是台湾媒体首次现场采访祖国大陆的航天发射任务。
