目前,在推广一氧化碳气体保护焊过程中,存在着一个重要问题是焊丝的输送距离太短。采用常规的送丝机构通过一对(或两对)辊轮夹紧焊丝推进,一般只能送出三到五米,生产使用极不方便。郑州机械科学研究所试制了一种三钢球送丝机,采用拉丝式单机可输送十米以上,采用一推一拉式最远可送31米以上。它与三辊轮式比较,送丝机外形尺寸和所需的电动机功率都有很大减少,而送丝力却增加了三分之一。
