江西省玉山县在中药资源普查中,发现了药典未载的一个新品种一一铁骨人参。据初步鉴定,系茜草科的“长尾粗叶木”。该瘤物系常绿灌木,高1～1.5米;茎园柱形,直立,直径1～2厘米,小枝披棕褐色粗毛,节稍膨大,节间2～8厘米,长短相隔。叶对生,近革质,披针形,长8～15厘米,宽1.5～3厘米,顶端尾状长尖,基部楔形;下面沿脉披短毛,侧脉约7条,叶柄长4～8毫米,披粗毛。花数朵,着生于叶腋。浆果球形,蓝黑色,直径约5毫米。
