讨论了纸张涂布和印刷实验的结果,研究了单一颜料对涂料的流变性和涂布印刷纸质量的作用。通过与沉淀碳酸钙(PCC)作对比,指出了硅基颜料的优缺点。结果表明,二氧化硅与PCC都可用作高档喷墨涂布纸的颜料。含二氧化硅的涂料保水性更好,能赋予涂布后的纸张更高的光泽度,更适合于黑白印刷;就涂料流变性、涂布纸不透明度和多色印刷品质量而言,PCC效果更好。而两种颜料混合可能会使制备的涂料黏度增大。
The results of paper coating and printing experiments were discussed. The effect of a single pigment on the rheological properties of the coating and the quality of the coated printing paper was investigated. By comparing with precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC), the advantages and disadvantages of silica-based pigments are pointed out. The results show that both silica and PCC can be used as high-grade inkjet coated paper pigments. Silica-containing coatings retain better water retention and give higher gloss to the coated paper, making them more suitable for black-and-white printing; PCC effects for coating rheology, coated paper opacity, and multicolor print quality better. The two pigments mixed may make the paint viscosity increases.
