数码语音技术采用半导体集成芯片存储语音信号,具有体积小、无介质磨损、寿命小、调用搜索快捷、控制方便、抗振强度高、适应复杂环境等特点,在各种家用电器、工业仪器设备、商业宣传产品、交通工具、声讯电话系统等中得到广泛应用。当然,和传统磁带式录放音的模拟语音处理技术相比,数码语音技术也有它的不足之处,即录放音时间短、相对成本高、音质不好、断电时语音易丢失等。但随着半导体集成技术的发展,数码语音技术已得到了极大的发展。美国ISD公司出品的一系列内置快闪存储器语音芯片,其语音音质好,不需专用编程器就可反复录放音,断电时语音保持不丢,只是目前芯片成本较高,录放音时间较短,分段控制较复杂,内置固定存储器不便扩展使用,产品应用受到了限制。
