本文主要研究输出在二语习得中的作用。通过对Swain的输出假设理论中输出的注意/激发功能、假设验证功能、元语言功能等三个功能的讨论,以及对相关实验研究和Swain合作对话的研究,本文认为输出促进二语习得,因而在二语习得中起到非常重要的作用。同时,笔者也认为输出理论可能在中国英语教学中也会起到非常重要的作用,但是需进一步研究输出在中国英语课堂中提高英语学习者的语言能力的有效性。
This paper studies the role of output in second language acquisition. Through the discussion of the three functions of the attention / motivation function, the hypothesis verification function and the metalanguage function output by Swain’s output hypothesis theory, as well as the research on related experimental research and Swain cooperative dialogue, this dissertation holds that output promotes second language acquisition, Therefore, it plays a very important role in second language acquisition. At the same time, I also think that output theory may play a very important role in Chinese teaching of English. However, it is necessary to further study the effectiveness of output in improving the language ability of English learners in Chinese English class.
