南京大学附近的有料小书店不少,唯楚书店就是一家。书店门店极小,不到二十平方,却像个小型百科书店。书的种类很多,各种题材的书,包括历史、政治、文学、法律甚至医药、气功题材的书都有,但是,更偏重文史哲类二手书。其实,店里的新书旧书都不少,如我所见,旧书有各大老牌出版社的文学经典系列,新书如上海三联和北京三联联合出版的孔飞力的《叫魂:1768年中国妖术大恐慌》也赫然在列。店内也有不少台版书,如联经的高行健诗 There are many small bookstores near Nanjing University, only Chu Bookstore is one.
