Clinical studies have shown that alcohol abuse in pregnant women can cause fetal serious, irreversible abnormalities, namely fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS). Many of the functions of children with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome are affected. The most common manifestations are prenatal and postnatal developmental disorders, weight, height, head circumference reduction; mental retardation and craniofacial deformities. The number of children with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome in the United States is unclear. Due to the location and population of the investigated study, the prevalence of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome at birth is quite different. According to studies by the American and European academic circles, the attack rate is 1 to 2/1000. It is estimated that babies born to alcohol abuse women have an attack rate of 23-
