灭火器俗称灭火机,其实并非机器而是器具。它应用范围广,使用方法简单,是扑灭初起火灾的通用灭火工具。但是目前我国的灭火器大部份是老产品,灭火效能低,技术性能差,有的毒性大,很不适应消防保卫工作日益发展的需要。我们一定要把灭火器的生产搞上去,尽快用新型、高效、低毒的灭火器取代老产品,实现灭火器的更新换代,以适应保卫四化建设的需要。近几年来,新型高效的1211和干粉灭火器虽有所发展,但存在不少问题:品种不全,规格杂乱,结构不一,参数不先进,工艺落后等等。去年,为了统一手提式1211和干粉灭火器的型号、规格、实现产品系列化、标准化、通用化,并改进工艺,提高产品质量,中国消防器材公司组织了有关消防器材厂,分别试制了这两种 Fire extinguishers, commonly known as fire extinguishers, are not machines but appliances. In recent years, the new and efficient 1211 and dry powder fire extinguishers have developed, but there are many problems: incomplete variety, messy specifications, different structures, parameters are not advanced, technology behind and so on. Last year, in order to unify the models and specifications of hand-held 1211 and powder fire extinguishers, and to achieve the serialization, standardization and generalization of products, as well as the improvement of technology and product quality, the Chinese fire-fighting equipment company organized the fire-fighting equipment factories to manufacture the two types
