Follicular helper T cells (Tfh) are a recently discovered group of B cell helper cell populations that play an important role in humoral immunity. Tfh is an important site of HIV infection and replication and is an important HIV virus library. The study found that Tfh in HIV infection occurred in a number of changes in function, phenotype and a series of changes that may be related to the occurrence of humoral immune defects in HIV infection. In HIV infection, the quantitative and functional imbalance between regulatory T cells (Tregs) and newly discovered Tfr and Tfh may contribute to the activation and immunodeficiency of HIV, both of which are responsible for HIV infection The relative quantity and function changes and their relationship with the progress of HIV infection, it is worth further study.
