蜂皇浆为何成为“浆”?它是工蜂口中腺体分泌出来的汁液,质地黏稠,营养丰富,是蜜蜂专门用来哺育蜂皇幼虫的浆液,所以称为蜂皇“浆”。蜂皇浆含有特有的皇浆蛋白,皇浆蛋白中的某些特异性氨基酸有助于保护肝细胞、抵抗炎症。蜂皇浆中水分其蛋白质占36%~55%,其中60%为清蛋白,30%为球蛋白,这种比例更利于人体吸收利用。蜂皇浆中还含有一些维生素、矿物质、乙酰胆碱、10-羟基-2-癸烯酸,对于血压、血脂的调控有着重要意义。
