谢阁兰(Victor Segale,1878-1919)是20世纪初第一批东游来中国的法国当代杰出作家。《谢阁兰中国书简》是他第一次深入中国腹地历险旅游写给妻子的书信集,也是一部糅书信体游记和文化游记为一体的散文集。谢阁兰延续法国传统“中国热”对田园牧歌式农业中国的描述,诗意化地描写了一个虽走向衰微,但依然鲜活存在的中国。他在这个真实和想象参半的“中国的幻象”中,得以尽情体验超越自我、追求自由、追求本真生命的感受。
Victor Segale (1878-1919) is one of the first French contemporary outstanding writers who traveled to China in the early 20th century. “Xie Gelan China Book” is his first letter written to his wife in-depth travel adventure in the hinterland of China, but also a collection of letters travels and cultural travels as one of the essays. Xie Gelan continuation of the French tradition “China hot” idyllic agriculture in rural China described a poetic description of a declining but still alive in China. In this true and imaginative “illusion of China,” he is able to experience the feeling of surpassing oneself, pursuing freedom and pursuing true life.
