I. INTRODUCTION As a legacy inherited from the Cold War era, the declassified Corona satellite image of the first generation of the United States spy satellite has unique advantages in presenting archeological sites that are difficult to identify from the surface. For example, ancient river channels, large rammed earth construction bases Site, as well as man-made transformation of the natural landscape. Corona’s high-resolution photographs, which cover a wide range of low-cost, long-term photographs, provide original research opportunities for archaeological landscapes that have disappeared in the past four decades or can not be approached again (Ur t2003; Wilkinson t2003). These advantages make Corona pictures of great importance in the teaching and research of Chinese archeology.
