从现近两年的艺术设计类毕业生的就业情况来看,用人单位都呼唤复合型人才、设计型人才。既要求毕业生在掌握一定的理论基础同时熟悉电脑设计、熟悉现场施工的各个环节过程、熟悉材料、擅长公共关系、适应性强、可塑性强,并且是立刻就能发挥作用的专业人才。这样的学生择业余地较大。高校艺术设计专业要按照“实际、实用、实践、必需、够用”的原则和专业技能培养的实际需要,培养出符合时代发展需求的、具备良好设计思维与技术素质的“抢手”人才,所以高校艺术设计专业人才培养模式应以提高实际动手能力为主导,加强教学与实践环节的训练。一方面让实践教学走进课堂教学中,全方位拓展实践教学领域,一方面强化参与社会实践、加大社会实践课,培养学生适应、完成各工种的设计与生产动手能力。
