Purpose To define urination data for normal male voiding. Methods A total of 1026 volunteers who were over 30 years of age or who had no symptoms of lower urinary tract were divided into 6 groups according to their age. Group A was 30 to 238 years old. Group B was 40 to 329 years old. Year old, 227 cases; group D 60 to 93 years; group E 70 to 78 years; group F over 80 years old, 61 cases. Urine flow rate was measured respectively to observe its maximum flow rate (Qmax), average flow rate (Qave), urine output, urination time and urinary flow time. Results There was no significant difference in urine output between groups (P> 0.05). Qmax and Qave decreased with age (P <0.05). Conclusion The preliminary urination data of normal male with urination in all age groups can be used as parameters to evaluate urination activity.
