本文运用对比语言学的理论,从词义对应、词义重合、词义碰撞与词义空缺四个方面,采取事实比较的方法对英汉两种语言中的色彩词语的联想意义进行描写性的分析,揭示色彩词所包含的人类文明的共性与个性,以及形成这些特点的民族文化心理。对于色彩词的联想意义分析将为跨文化交际和第二语言学习提供一个崭新的研究思路。
This article uses the theory of contrastive linguistics to conduct a descriptive analysis of the associative meanings of color terms in English and Chinese from the four aspects of meaning correspondence, word meaning overlap, meaning collision and meaning gap, Including the commonalities and individualities of human civilization, as well as the national cultural psychology that formed these characteristics. Associative meaning analysis of color words will provide a brand new research idea for intercultural communication and second language learning.
