Guppy moth larvae in the absence of any food and water supply conditions of hunger, there are mutual residual feeding behavior; habit of feeding on the same species of eggs; However, the amount of food intake is minimal, and none of them can be a source of supplemental nutrition for the continuation of their lives. Mainly rely on the physiological characteristics of diapause larvae and their own low consumption of nutrients in particular to sustain life. The 180-day-old larvae returned to normal growth and development after feeding, and had no significant effect on their fecundity. After 365 days of starvation, feeding larvae were recovered, the pupation rate was significantly reduced; a few larvae could pupate and develop normal adults; most larvae could not pupate or pupate could not emerge and die
