The authors performed immunosuppressive therapy prior to bone marrow transplantation in 26 patients with severe aplastic anemia between 1980 and 1986. Twenty of them were treated with total body irradiation (TBI) at a total dose of 800 cGy and 100 cGy / time / day for 4 consecutive days. The dose rate was 8.2 ~
