一、概述叶片是植物进行光合作用的主要器官。植物依靠叶片接收阳光,吸收空气中的二氧化碳进行光合作用,转化成植物生长过程中所需要的有机物质。显然,叶片的大小会直接影响植物生长的全过程,所以对叶片面积的测量是农业科研中必不可少的项目。过去对植物叶面积的测量经常采用以下几种方法:1.称重法;2.打孔法;3.方格法;4.球积仪法。用这些方法测量植物叶面积,测量人员通常都要经过繁琐的工序,多个步骤,从取样到获得最后数据即费时又费力,而且叶片必须剥离植株,不能对植物叶片直接进行活体测量。因此无论是效率还是准确度都不能令人满意,也就更谈不上观察叶片对植物整个生长过程的影响了。

Measuring the leaf area of plants by these methods requires the measurement personnel to go through complicated steps and steps in many cases. It takes time and effort to obtain the final data from the sampling and the leaves must be stripped of the plants and the living leaves of the plants can not be directly measured in vivo. So both efficiency and accuracy are not satisfactory, let alone observe the impact of the leaves on the entire plant growth process.
