杨植霖的名字对许多人来说并不陌生。这不仅因为他经历过为后辈人所钦敬的漫长艰苦的革命斗争,也不仅因为他先后在内蒙、青海和甘肃等地担任过重要领导职务,还因为他写了一本产生过重大影响的著作《王若飞在狱中》。这些固然都是我们决定采访他的原因,不过还有一个重要原因;这位革命老人自1983年退居二线,注意保持革命晚节,热情关心振兴甘肃,孜孜不倦地为党为人民做了不少力所能及的工作,受到我省广大干部群众的爱戴。6月17日早晨,我们虽然比约定时间提前赶到他鲜花掩映的住宅前,他已经等候在门前的水泥台阶上了。老人身材格外修长挺拔,面貌慈祥质朴。略事寒喧,他把我们领进他的书房兼会客室
Yang Zhi-lin’s name is no stranger to many people.
